Where your child goes to school does make a difference. Quality of education translates to quality of life. Make the quality choice for your child by applying to attend school in St. Louis County through the voluntary St. Louis Student Transfer Program.
Eligible African-American city families can choose from a variety of educational settings in the county which are available to students living in their city neighborhood. There is no tuition fee, and transportation is provided at no cost to parents as long as the family continues to live in the attendance area that is paired with the selected suburban school or district (see Attendance Area Map below). Because each county district varies in size and each has its own philosophy, you have a unique opportunity to match your child's learning needs to the school district of your choice.
Applications for the 2013-2014 school year are now available. Students are enrolled according to space availability. African-American students who are currently enrolled in a St. Louis Public School will automatically receive an application for fall, 2013.
